Frequently Asked Questions

Can this be used after surgery instead of a cone?
Yes — many pet parents use onesie pajamas as a gentler alternative to e-collars for post-surgery recovery. The fabric covers the surgical site and discourages licking without the stress and restricted vision of a cone. Always consult your vet to confirm it's appropriate for your dog's specific procedure.

Will my dog overheat in this?
The pajamas are designed for indoor use in cool or cold environments. If your home is warm, monitor your dog during initial wear. Most dogs regulate well, but if your dog seems restless or panting, remove the onesie and try it in cooler conditions.

How do I put it on without a struggle?
Start by letting your dog sniff the onesie before putting it on. Slip the front legs in first, then guide the back legs through and fasten the closures. Reward with treats throughout — most dogs adjust after a few sessions.

Is this suitable for male dogs?
Yes — the onesie design accommodates male dogs. For full-time wear, you may need to remove it for bathroom breaks and then put it back on, or look for a version with a male-specific cutout.
